DAY 01 \u2013 UDAWALAWE \u2013 ELLA<\/h3>\n

After breakfast commence a Jeep Safari in Udawalawe National Park.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Udawalawe National Park<\/strong> lies on the boundary of Sabaragamuwa and Uva Provinces, in Sri Lanka. The national park was created to provide a sanctuary for wild animals displaced by the construction of the Udawalawe
\nreservoir on the Walawe River, as well as to protect the catchment of the reservoir. The reserve covers 30,821 hectares of
\nland area and was established on 30 June 1972. The park is 165 kilometers from Colombo. Udawalawe is an
\nimportant habitat for water birds and Sri Lankan Elephants. It is a popular tourist destination and the third most visited park in the country.<\/p>\n

After Jeep Safari leaves for Ella.<\/strong>
\nAfternoon visit Rawana Waterfall, Nine Arch Bridge, Little Adams Peak<\/p>\n

DAY 02 \u2013 ELLA – NANUOYA BY TRAIN \u2013 TEA PLANTATION \u2013BENTOTA<\/h3>\n

After breakfast leave for From Ella to Nanuoya by Train<\/strong>.(Second Class)<\/span>. You can enjoy the scenic
\ndrive.<\/p>\n

From Nanuoya to Peradeniya. En route Visit a Tea Plantation & Factory<\/strong>. Sight walk to the city area.
\nNuwara Eliya \u2013 180 km\u2019s from Colombo, 6200ft. above sea level. In 1826 some British Officers 1828 a road constructed
\nover the ridge at Ramboda Pass and a station for convalescent Soldiers was established was Sir Samuel Baker who
\nfell under the spell of Nuwara Eliya, brought hounds, horses, cattle, sheep, etc., and started a typical English farm
\nhere. Flowers and vegetables were brought from England and planted.<\/p>\n
