Morning<\/strong>\u00a05 am<\/strong>\u00a0starting from Your Hotel and we will go to\u00a0Dambulla Cave Temple<\/strong>\u00a0after the temple we will go to\u00a0Sigiriya Rock Fortress<\/strong>\u00a0if you are happy on the way back visit the\u00a0Silk Factory<\/strong>\u00a0and Showroom,\u00a0Gem Museum<\/strong>\u00a0and after\u00a0Lunch<\/strong>\u00a0leave to Your Hotel at approximately 8 pm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Dambulla Rock Temple.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dambulla\u00a0is famous for the five cave Temples on a rock, which is a UNESCO-listed World Heritage Site. The
\nfirst 03 caves are better, older, and larger than the other two. Some caves date to 1st C.B.C. All 5 cave walls and ceilings are covered with Buddhist murals and there are more than 130 Buddha statues, statues of Gods and Kings are also found here.<\/p>\n

Sigiriya Rock.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sigiriya\u00a0today is a UNESCO-listed World Heritage Site. It is one of the best-preserved examples of ancient
\nurban planning. It is the most visited historic site in Sri Lanka. King Kassapa (477-495 A.D) who shifted the Capital from Anuradhapura to Sigiriya made a fortress to surround his palace, which was constructed on the summit of a 500ft high rock, with the necessary facilities. The Palace was surrounded by an outer moat and wall and Inner \u2013 moat and Wall, a pleasure garden, a Mirror-wall, light-colored and dark-colored damsel\u2019s frescoes, to cover the western wall, and a beautiful staircase through the body of a Crouching Lion some of the attractions here. The boulder garden consists of caves where Buddhist Bhikkus lived and meditated.<\/p>\n
